Hume Society Membership

The Society welcomes members interested in the thought and writings of David Hume, including scholars at all levels concentrating on Hume’s philosophical contemporaries.

Membership dues support the Society’s operating expenses, the publication and mailing of Hume Studies, and conference travel stipends for graduate students.

Members in good standing receive email newsletters, and a subscription to Hume Studies. They also have online access to the complete Hume Studies archive, and to reserved sections of From time to time Society members may also take advantage of special offers from publishers – usually at a savings equal to, or more than, annual membership dues.

Additionally, members can publicize their publications (books) and other scholarly activity of interest in the News about Members section.
